Projects
I have always thrown myself into lots of different projects and never been afraid to commit myself. As chairman for Danish Bass Society for six years, I arranged many courses and concerts.
In 2005, I arranged Bassissimo and there I met Jeff Bradetich, Professor at the University of North Texas. We agreed that it would be of great benefit for double bass education, if we could arrange for him to come to Europe and hold a master class every year. Together, we created Mittenwald International Master Classes.
I have also always been attracted to performance, dance, music and interactive installation art, which has led me to the artist collective Half Machine. I am now a member, and together we bought Copenhagen’s new, exciting floating art scene, MS Half Machine.
As part of Half Machine, I created and performed my own solo performance, Andy Benz, in Denmark and abroad.
